In the spring 2016 I studied abroad in Italy during my Junior year of University. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Having such an amazing experience like I did, it inspired me to return for the summer of 2017 after I graduated and then live abroad for the entire year to teach English.

I discovered a lot about myself and a lot about the Italian people as well as their culture. Something I naively thought I knew a lot about by being raised italian-american. With every day that passes, I wish to return to the land that made me feel so at home.
